This school year alone, the District has added more than 230 students, with October's enrollment count coming in at just under 14,470 students at the time of the report. That's up from 14,019 this time just two years ago.

Hockey, football and baseball standout Paul Martin - already a member of the Elk River Elks Hall of Fame - will now be enshrined in the Minnesota State High School Hall of Fame next spring.

The transition allowed for new plans to arise, setting new standards. And the first true example of that standard was unveiled to all students at Meadowvale Elementary School last week with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony.
