OUR SCHOOL

Welcome to Otsego Elementary School!

We are a K-4 elementary school serving more than 550 students in Otsego, MN. As part of ISD728, our students will move on to Prarie View Middle School and Rogers High School. At Otsego, staff focus on academic rigor, positive school culture, and strength of the community. We have dedicated staff members that work to identify students' individual needs and interests to create the best educational experience for each child. 

We focus on the Three B's: Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible. Through these traits we share expectations for each situation, build school pride, and foster positive citizenship. 

Leadership opportunities at OES include National Honor Society, Student Council, Respect Ranger, Bus Captains, Safety Patrol, and classroom buddies.

Hours

• Office Hours:  8:00 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
• Student School Day:  9:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
• Student Arrival Times: 
  • Breakfast: 9:00 a.m. - Doors open for students eating breakfast. 
  • First bell:  9:05 a.m. - Doors open for all students.
  • Second bell:  9:15 a.m. - School begins. Students are expected to be in classrooms.

Early Pick Up 

If a child needs to be picked up before the end of the school day, please send a note with your child(ren) to be given to classroom teacher(s).  If you need to contact the office regarding your child(ren) leaving early, please do so by 2:00 p.m. After 2:00 p.m. messages will no longer be sent out due to safety issues.
In order to pick your child up early, you need to do the following:

• Pick him/her up in the office and sign out.
• If the child(ren) bring a note to leave school early with someone other than a parent/guardian, that individual may be asked to show proper identification.
