Meet the Administration Team
Our Principal: Kelly Kudla
Hello and Welcome to Otsego Elementary!
My name is Kelly Kudla. I am excited to begin my fourth year as the principal of Otsego Elementary School! Before coming to ISD728, I served in the Robbinsdale Area Schools as an Assistant Principal, Administrative Intern, Behavior Specialist, Instructional Coach, and 5th grade teacher. I have a Bachelor of Science from the University of WI-Madison, a Master of Arts from Hamline University, and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University. Most recently, I earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Concordia University and am currently a Faculty of Practice. Teaching courses helps me to stay current with educational practices which I can immediately put into practice. I am truly a lifelong learner!
As a principal, I feel like I have the best job there is. The best part? Your children! I love interacting with the students, hearing their stories, asking them what they know, and watching them grow academically and as citizens. And we have pretty great staff and families too!
Currently, I live in Maple Grove with my husband, two children, and dogs (yep-we added a puppy this summer!). We spend a lot of time outdoors and watching sports, especially basketball and lacrosse. My favorite activities include reading, running, entertaining, trying new things, and going on little adventures with my family. And of course, I love being an educator!
Looking forward to a great year at Otsego Elementary!
Go Eagles!
